Canbury Press shortlisted for Small Press of the Year

Canbury Press has been nominated for Small Press of the Year!
We and three fellow publishers (September Publishing, Guppy Books and SRL Publishing) are on the shortlist for the award's East/South-East Region, the Bookseller magazine announced today (19th February 2021).
Small Press of the Year – part of the British Book Awards – is open to publishers with annual sales under £2 million.
The Bookseller, which runs the awards, will announce the regional winners in March. They then go forward to the national awards ceremony in May.
Martin Hickman, Managing Director of Canbury Press, said: "We're very thankful to the Bookseller for shortlisting us. With bookshops closed and Covid running amok, 2020 was disruptive and volatile. But we fought hard for each book we published, scrapping for every inch of media and shelf space. All the shortlisted publishers have our congratulations for shining in an especially difficult year."
