Canbury Launches Non-Fiction Book Box Subscription - Canbury Press

If being a small (very small!) independent publisher can be tough, being a small independent publisher through a pandemic where all the bookstores you rely on to sell your books are shut, is definitely harder. We’ve thought a lot about ways to sustain our business, and today we’re launching a new subscription service for lovers of non-fiction.

Customers can select whether they're more interested in Current Affairs or Biography. A one off fee of £55 will then get you*:

- Five mystery titles, tailored to you, sent as soon as they are printed, with a total RRP of £59.95 or more
- Free postage and packing
- At least one signed or special edition, or a free gift
- A 20% discount code for use in our online shop
- Advance notice and priority booking for author events.

*Please note this offer is currently only available to customers based in the UK.

Our promise to you is that the books will all be examples of high quality, distinctive non-fiction. Our authors will always be experts in their field. They will often be debut authors who we have commissioned to talk about under-reported contemporary issues. We're committed to publishing important voices who champion liberal values. Canbury has previously published Because We Are Bad by Lily Bailey, a young woman who campaigned on Twitter for more sensitive public treatment of OCD; Brexit What The Hell Happens Now? by political writer Ian Dunt and books on topics as diverse as the phonehacking scandal, the badger cull, and a criminal prosecutor's memoir

Now, more than ever, our mission feels important. We hope it does to you, too, and that this is an offer that will appeal to you, or to a lover of non-fiction in your life.
